In 2016 Beyroot’s founder Tariq realised his father’s dream to own a Van and serve Lebanese food to the people of London. After losing touch with his job as a Building Design Engineer, Tariq began laying out his plan to serve authentic, tasty and affordable Lebanese food. 8 years on he is a staple on the London street food scene and his wraps are well known for their flavour and generous size.

Swati and Karthikk moved to UK from India in 2008 soon after their first wedding anniversary and started a life working in London. Dough & Deer fitted out their first Land Rover Defender in 2015, which they custom fit with a wood-fired pizza oven. The oven can reach soaring temperatures of 600C and is capable of cooking a pizza in just 90 seconds! They craft their pizza by selecting the finest ingredients, using a distinctive sourdough-style base, the finest San Marzano tomatoes from Italy and a variety of carefully chosen toppings that can satisfy all taste buds.

Shane and Liz are the founders of Oishī Don, created during 2020 and the first lockdown after craving steak donburi and realising that nowhere else in London was serving this. ‘Oishī’ translates to ‘delicious’ and ‘Don’ is short for ‘donburi’ meaning rice bowl. Pabellon is a family owned Venezuelan business owned by Helios and Karla Gala, who wanted to share a generation of family recipes and Venezuelan flavours with London. Pabellon make two Venezuelan dishes: the pabellon, a healthy and delicious bowl consisting of rice, black beans, slow-cooked beef or chicken, fried plantain, avocado, pico de gallo and cornbread, and the famous arepa, a traditional cornbread stuffed with your choice of protein and all the trimmings. Fabrizio and Raminta are the people behind Pasta e Basta. They are a small family business and as the name suggests, are all about pasta. “Basta” means “enough” or “stop it”. So “pasta e basta” translates to “pasta and that’s it” or “just pasta”. Their team is made up of culinary superstars, with a combined 25 years of chef experience, including a stint working at Ottolenghi.
